Emma Edwards-Jones, the Snowdonia Society's Green Snowdonia Co-coordinator said ‘Not only is this businesses showing commitment and imagination in reducing their environmental impact, but they are doing it with flair and style, providing exciting and high quality experiences for visitors to Snowdonia.

This business impressed the judges with its comprehensive approach to sustainability and its continued efforts to review policies and improve performance. The property has solar panels to supply hot water and all bedrooms have new energy efficient, thermostatically controlled radiators. An impressive rainwater harvesting system provides water for the gardens and chickens. There is a strong ethos of reduce, reuse, recycle with a comprehensive recycling system. The judges particularly liked the way the business promotes its eco-friendly ethos on its website.
