Trefriw Walking Festival

Trefriw Walking Festival - Llyn Crafnant

Trefriw Walking Festival – Llyn Crafnant

The Trefriw Walking Festival is host to many free walking programmes, activities and events from the 20th to the 22nd of May 2016.  This popular walking festival is perfect for hard-core and family adventurers alike, with three days of wild exploration in the foothills of the gorgeous Carneddau mountains.

The festival has been running for a few years now, and this year they are hoping to raise some money for the festivals upkeep. All the walks are free but they are asking for a small donation of £4 for a half day and £8 for a full day. This is so that the festival and the fun can continue next year!

Not only are there lots of walks and activities going on but there is also a Historical Exhibition of Trefriw’s history, the Trefriw Woollen Mills Weaving and Mill Museum and a Cake Fest and Raffle with loads of great prizes to be won!

Not to mention all of the nearby activities and breath-taking locations for you to discover, such as Llyn Crafnant Trout Fishing, the Rock Climbing Company, Merlin Outdoors, Nant Bwlch yr Haearn, Surf Snowdonia, Snowdonia Safaris and Trefriw itself!
